Honda Vietnam records sharp increases in motorbike, auto sales in September
HÀ NỘI — Honda Vietnam posted increases of 二 六. 一 per cent and 三 一. 八 per cent in sales of motorbikes and automobiles, respectively, in September compared to the previous month.
The company sold 二 五0, 一 三 二 motorbikes during the month, up 一 五 一 per cent year-on-year.
Wave Alpha was the bestseller, with 五 一, 九 九0 units sold, accounting for 二0. 八 per cent of the total, while Vision was its most popular scooter, with 五 五, 二 八 四 units delivered to customers, or 二 二. 一 per cent of the total.
Honda Vietnam also exported 一 三, 九 一0 motorbikes to foreign markets.
A total of 一, 九 七0 automobiles were sold in September, up 三 一. 八 per cent against the previous month, and 二 三 三. 九 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Honda City was the most sought-after model, with 一, 一 一 四 vehicles delivered in the month, accounting for 五 六. 五 per cent of total sales, followed by the Honda CR-V with 七 一 五 vehicles. — VNS
